Pastor Matt chaperoned Cam Butler in Toowoomba Queensland last weekend as he spoke at numerous churches and the Toowoomba Mayoral Prayer Breakfast.
Toowoomba Mayor Geoff McDonald welcomed Pastor Matt De Haan and Cameron Butler from Genesis Church Victoria to the 600 plus crowd. Cam then went on to say that “we no longer have a Queens Birthday rather a Kings Birthday”, also a “Kings Counsel (KC) in law, rather than a Queens Counsel (QC)”, noting further that he and Pastor Matt were “honoured to be in Kingsland!”
The 30 anniversary breakfast was attended by the councillors, students, businesses and the churches of Toowoomba. Of which there are over 100 churches in the region!
Many heard and were moved by the authentic Gospel message shared by Pastor Cam around Trusting One Another, believing the Game Plan, and having Faith During Times Of Adversity – The Book of Hebrews says, “Do not throw away your confidence, for it brings with it a great reward…” (Heb 10:35-39) And the ultimate confidence is our faith in “The Coach” who wants to reside in the coaches box of our life.
Pastor Matt and Cam got to minister at Highlands Church and Rangeville Community Church the previous Sunday over 3 services.
