We would like to invite our entire Church family to a season of prayer over the next 3 months – from June to August 2023.
We are living in very exciting times and prayer is without doubt foundational to seeing God’s spirit and grace poured out over our families, friends and community.
We all need God’s grace.
Prayer team leader Ross Walker said, “I feel prayer is so important for our Church life. I am sure each person in this Church prays quietly at home, but there is something about meeting together in the Lord’s house and coming before him humbly, bringing our concerns to him and at the same time opening our spiritual ears to listen. We are entering a new season in this Church and have already seen some amazing answers to prayer.”
The prayer team are inviting you to be a part of the next season prayer initiative for the June, July and August as the Church transitions to new leadership.
Some of the areas we will be praying for:
- Workers in the harvest field – to see new growth and workers arise
- Outpouring of Holy Spirit on our fellowship and community
- Matt & Sam De Haan and Jim and Robyn McMillan
- Christ’s leadership of his church
- Healing, wholeness and health for the sick
The prayer team meets every Wednesday night from 7.00 to 8.00PM at Genesis Church Maryborough (9 Neill Street Maryborough).
