Genesis Church is blessed to have Gary Gregor join its church Eldership.
With a number of exciting changes occurring over the coming months we are delighted and blessed to have Gary join and serve our church Board.
You’ll often see Gary vacuuming and cleaning the church early on Sunday mornings.
Matt De Haan said, “That’s what I love about Gary, he’s a hard worker and a servant.” Adding, “We want to be a church known for servant leadership. Serving one another, and serving Jesus.”
Matt was delighted, saying, “It’s a joy to have Gary onboard.”
Gary said he grew up in the Mallee, farming the land and now works at the local sawmill in Talbot.
He has dedicated 10 years of service to Red Frogs Chaplaincy in Lorne, providing care and support for end of school leavers and sharing the gospel.
Gary is also very active and well known in the local Maryborough and Talbot community serving the Talbot CFA as First Lieutenant and Training Officer.
He has a heart of service and loves to help people in a practical way.
Gary is married to Emma and father to Charlotte. They have been members of Genesis Church since 2018.
The Genesis Church Eldership is served by Ross Walker, Giselle Port, Jim McMillan, Matt De Haan, Dave Hyatt, Cameron Butler and Gary Gregor.
In the coming months Jim and Dave will be transitioning off the Genesis Church Board.
